Dr. Laurie Collier

Do you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck?

If you’re balancing work, caregiving, major life changes, while quietly masking depression, anxiety, or both, and have been carrying too much for too long, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to manage it all by yourself.

I provide counseling for women who are experiencing stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. I also offer couples counseling and relationship counseling for partners who feel disconnected, stuck in cycles of conflict, or struggling to communicate in a healthy way. Many couples come to therapy feeling emotionally distant, overwhelmed by recurring arguments, navigating trust issues, or wanting to rebuild intimacy and closeness.

Many of the women and couples I work with are capable, resilient, and accustomed to showing up for others, yet privately feel exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next.

I understand that stress, burnout, and relationship challenges often go deeper than surface-level symptoms. In our work together, we’ll explore the patterns, relationships, and life experiences that may be contributing to how you’re feeling. Couples often find that unspoken expectations, unresolved hurt, miscommunication, or life transitions can quietly strain a relationship over time, even when both partners care deeply and want things to improve.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can slow down, breathe, gain clarity, and begin to feel more balanced and supported. Whether you are working through anxiety, navigating a major life transition, healing conflict in your marriage, rebuilding trust, or strengthening emotional and physical intimacy, you don’t need to have everything figured out to begin.

Together, we’ll work toward understanding what’s happening, finding answers that make sense, and building a path toward relief, connection, and meaningful change.
